PROJECT INFORMATION:

We TV, originally known as “Women’s Entertainment”, is an American cable television channel owned by AMC Networks. In 2023, WE tv sought to further evolve its brand identity to break free from lingering stereotypes associated with women’s television and to appeal to a more diverse viewership.

The goal was to develop a refreshed brand that embodies authenticity and boldness, resonating with contemporary audiences while staying true to the network’s core values.
MY ROLE

Working closely with the creative director and a motion designer, I was responsible for building out one of the three brand territories for the WE tv rebrand. Based on the strategic prompt “WE goes deeper.” I developed the full motion identity system around this concept. 

After the client selected the direction, I extended the proposal into a full identity system.

All motions presented are animated by team; visual and storyboard design by me.
The typeface has sharp edges, yet still feels personable.
Core colors are used for overall brand and marketing, while secondary colors are used in pairs to brand shows thematically.
